M98 premium fuel launched

According to company officials, the premium unleaded fuel available at 266bz per litre will improve engine performance, reduces fuel consumption and protects the engine. As with other fuels, the price will vary depending on oil prices.

Speaking on the occasion, David Kalife, CEO of Oman Oil Marketing Company, said, “As a customer centric organisation, we aim to continuously surpass the expectations of our loyal consumers by offering latest products.

“Our customers’ needs come first. We have catered to all segments by offering diesel, regular M91, M95 and our top of the range, the Ultimax. This high-octane rating fuel will allow motorists to drive longer distances, with cleaner burning fuel and help them maintain their cars.”

For two months, those refuelling M98 worth RO10 will be part of the raffle draw every 30 days with the possibility of winning 90 fuel cards of RO25. Other gifts include smartphones and gym memberships.

Sovereign ID solution Blockpass joins DIF, Trusted IOT Alliance

Self-sovereign identity solution Blockpass has announced two new key memberships cementing its preparations for the public release of its application at the end of March this year. These memberships support the Blockpass mission of providing users with a blockchain based self-sovereign identity solution to better interact with regulated industries and the connected world.

The first membership is with the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF), a group of leading industrial identity and technology experts, aims to establish how best to manage the future of distributed identity solutions and how the industry can focus on the development of standards. As a DIF member, Blockpass joins a large number of organizations, from enterprises to start-ups, committed to the creation of an interoperable ecosystem of decentralized identities.

The second membership is with the Trusted IOT Alliance, a consortium whose focus is ‘Powering A Hyper Connected World’ by connecting and securing the next generation of smart IoT products with blockchain technology for a more trusted, secure and scalable Internet of Things. This membership will allow Blockpass to engage with industrial leaders and leading blockchain startups to determine key layers of a baseline identity standard for all connected devices.

“Through DIF’s broader network, Blockpass can engage in high-level conversations regarding the immediate real-world application potential for emergent object and device identity profiles. We have been looking for a foundation that aligns with our core pillars of creating a blockchain identity protocol for the connected world, and it’s obvious to us that DIF is the right fit to continue to grow and nurture our business.”

Hans Lombardo, CMO of Blockpass

With the use of blockchain, Blockpass is in a position where it can propose alternative solutions to centralized data storage that will provide two huge benefits to consumers and service providers alike. Firstly, users will be in control of their identity and only they can decide who can access it, and secondly that no centralized server stores sensitive personal data.

Can We REALLY Use Water As Fuel For Our Cars?

After all the money, pollution, and anger, the world is finally catching on.

The cleanest and most efficient fuel is all around us, and it's FREE. You may recall in high school chemistry class, that water molecules are made of two hydrogen atoms bonded with one Oxygen atom. When you boil water, this chemical make-up does not change. The water simply turns into its vaporeous state. And when you freeze it, the water molecule still stays in tact. However, run electricity through the water, and something very interesting happens. The water molecule is actually split apart, and bubbles begin to form. This process is called electrolysis, and the bubbles are the Hydrogen and Oxygen gases being separated and released. This gas, known as HHO or Brown's gas, is a wonderful fuel, and can supplement your gasoline to power your car.

Can we run our car purely on this HHO gas? That's certainly a vision to behold. Although it's possible, it would require extensive modification to your car. The vision from big industry and Government is to move us toward the use of Hydrogen Fuel Cells. Those are basically batteries that use Hydrogen gas to generate power, which in turn runs an electric-like car. Sounds nice, but this has several flaws for the consumer. It requires a completely new and expensive kind of car that must be designed and built from the ground up. It does nothing to help us NOW, with our existing cars. It also requires a large tank to literally STORE compressed hydrogen gas in your car – not exactly a warm-fuzzy is it? But worse yet, that design, which was absolutely intentional, will keep us dependent once again on the Gas Station. And at the toning of the bell, like mindless cattle we will return time and time again to the pump.

Hydrogen on demand systems can be easily installed on the car or truck you drive TODAY. They do not store Hydrogen gas; they certainly produce it from water, then immediately feed it into your engine through one of the standard air-intake lines. The electricity to produce the HHO comes from the excess current of your car's battery. Once released in the line, the Oxygen gas bonds with the gasoline, and the Hydrogen supplements it, creating a much faster and more complete flash in the chambers, burning virtually all fuel present. Your car will actually have more pep, drive cooler, and generate virtually no harmful emissions. But what's really getting everyone's attention is the gas mileage; it increases dramatically! Although the effectiveness will vary with every car, most report seeing 20 to 60% increase in mileage.

By simply installing a hydrogen on demand system in your car, you will be part of an earth shattering moment in history. OPEC and the oil companies have gone too far, and now it's time for science and ethical common sense to prevail. Future generations will proudly remember you as one of the great mavericks of a time, when we finally broke the oil cycle, and unleashed the true power of water.
